Monster Cable Electroform Nameplate
...
Monster Cable Products Inc., a leading manufacturer of high performance audio/video components, was searching for a 3 dimensional nameplate to embellish an audio earbud pouch. They consulted Logitech... ...They consulted Logitech, a current GMN customer, who recommended us as a quality manufacturer.
When competing for this project, Monster compared GM Nameplate’s chrome electroform sample with that of another leading nameplate manufacturer. GM Nameplate won over the customer with its refined detail, crisp edges, and overall aesthetic appeal. All production of electroform products is carried out in GM Nameplate’s China facility.
To begin developing the electroform nameplate, tooling is manufactured in-house to reduce lead time. The part is then created using an electroplating process that deposits metal directly to the desired form. This part comes in four various plating options: Bright Gold, Copper, Bright Chrome and Black Chrome. Other electroform plating options available include satin chrome and satin gold (alone or in combination).
Demand for GMN’s electroform process has steadily increased, particularly for industries and applications requiring a high-end, premium nameplate. Through collaborative efforts of GMN employees, we were able to exceed the customer’s expectations. Monster Cable Products was pleased with GM Nameplate’s dedication, innovation, and exceptional capabilities.
