The Ballard High School Viking Robotics Team won the regional Rebound Rumble last Saturday at CenturyLink Field. The purpose of the event was to build a robot that is able to shoot the most baskets. When I heard about the event, I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was very entertaining to watch. Check out the video of the final match to see the action.
GM Nameplate is proud to be a sponsor of the Vikings once again this year. The purpose of the robotics program is get students excited about engineering and technology. Considering the media coverage about shortages of engineers, it is great to learn that there is a new generation of experts coming up through the ranks.
