Honored to Have Been Elected

AEM logoI am excited to share that I was just named Vice-Chairman of the 2013 AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers) Product Safety & Compliance Seminar.  It is a huge honor to have been selected considering the breadth and depth of knowledge held by my comrades. 

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the event, AEM’s Product Safety & Compliance Seminar is one of the premier sources of safety information for manufacturers of agricultural, construction, forestry, mining and utility equipment.  The two-day event includes seminars on a variety of topics from safety fundamentals to training and brings together safety professionals from around the world.

I attended my first seminar seven years ago and was so impressed that I immediately asked how I could get involved.  From participating in planning committees to presenting on safety labels and compliance, I have been volunteering with this event ever since.  As we begin work on next year’s event, I look forward to helping AEM continue their efforts to further industry safety.
