GM Nameplate Announces Visit from Washington State Governor
GM Nameplate, a leading manufacturing solutions provider, announced today that Washington State Governor, Christine Gregoire, and her Republican opponent, Dino Rossi, each made a campaign stop at the company’s Seattle manufacturing plant, in the midst of a tight
election campaign.
Gregoire visited GM Nameplate October 14th and Rossi visited on October 23rd. Each candidate spent approximately one hour at GM Nameplate; speaking to, and taking questions from, GM Nameplate employees, in a spirited exchange about the election and current issues affecting Washington citizens.
Each election season, GM Nameplate CEO, Don Root, invites both Democratic and Republican candidates to GM Nameplate’s Washington division. “We have had candidates and elected officials for many Washington races speak at GM Nameplate, over the years,” stated Root. “However, this is the first time that we have had the honor of a sitting Governor visiting our facilities, and we are thrilled that Governor Gregoire spent time with, and met many of our employees.”
