GM Nameplate Wins Physio-Control Supplier of the Year Award for 2012

SEATTLE, Washington (May 30, 2012) – Physio-Control, Inc. awarded GM Nameplate with the Supplier of the Year award for 2012 at their supplier conference on May 9. The conference was attended by Physio Control’s top 40 suppliers.

Brad Root, President of GM Nameplate, accepted the award at GM Nameplate’s company meeting on May 17. The award was presented by Physio Control’s Jeremy Rife, VP of Global Supply Chain Operations, Mac Madden, Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing, and Liz Nixon, Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist.

“We are so fortunate to have partners like Physio-Control — to be awarded Supplier of the Year is an honor,” said Brad Root.

Ever year, Physio-Control’s supply management team scores all suppliers on part quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness to customer service needs and technical engineering support for new products. All areas of performance are looked at including schedule, cost, and quality.

Some highlights of GM Nameplates performance in the past year include:

• No supplier corrective actions for over 18 months.
• Perfect on-time delivery performance for 15 months.
