When engineering a new die, our goal is to reduce the total production cost by utilizing the most appropriate die type, material, tolerances and manufacturing method.

GM Nameplate builds its own Class “A” tools to reduce the total tooling cost as well as the production cost since the set up time is reduced. Producing our own Class “A” tooling further benefits our customers because we are not required to collect sales tax if ownership of the tool does not transfer to the customer, which can amount to significant savings.
