Embossed

Overlays can be embossed using a variety of different methods to add interest and dimensionality to your user interface design.

From a functionality standpoint, embossing keys or other areas can augment the ease of use by giving certain keys a tactile and visual difference.

Additional common embossing applications include raising an LED above the overlay surface, creating effects for logos or copy and incorporating Braille on keys or legends.
