SEATTLE, Washington – GM Nameplate (GMN) announced today that it is now a Converter Partner for Laird Technologies. The company’s new converter status means GMN can provide and fabricate Laird materials more efficiently and at a lower cost.
Laird is a market leader for a variety of performance-critical solutions for electronics applications. Laird’s high-performance materials provide solutions for thermal management, EMI shielding, and RF and microwave absorption to protect electronic components from heat and interference.
At GMN, Laird’s thermal management and shielding products are utilized as part of larger assemblies or as individual die-cut components for electronics applications. GMN has been utilizing Laird materials for more than 10 years.
As one of four designated Converter Partners, GMN is aligned well with Laird to provide the best possible solutions for customers’ projects. For GMN customers already utilizing Laird’s products on their parts, this exclusive agreement means GMN has better access to Laird materials, engineering, and pricing to provide enhanced service and lower-cost solutions.
“We are so excited to be a Converter Partner for Laird Technologies. Laird is a recognized leader in materials for thermal management and shielding. This partnership gives us direct access to Laird’s highly-engineered materials and design resources. We’re proud to be aligned with Laird so we can provide even better custom solutions to our customers,” said Gerry Gallagher, VP of sales and marketing at GM Nameplate.
